This midweight sock, for business and casual wear (comes up to lower mid calf), is made in New Zealand from 55% New Zealand Merino wool, 29% Nylon, 8% Elastic, 8% SeaCellactive and utilises trademarked Elastic Support System (ESS) to ensure a customised fit.

What is SeaCellactive?
A soft and highly absorbent, innovative cellulose fibre containing seaweed and enriched with silver developed in Germany as an alternative to conventional antibacterial fibres. SeaCell
active helps regulate moisture and hydrates your skin, slowly releasing non-toxic silver ions in warm, moist conditions (such as those provided by your feet) to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi.
The Seaweed content has an added benefit it helps your sock remember the shape of your foot for ultimate comfort after repeated machine laundering, therefore each pair consists of a left and right fitting sock with "L" and "R" woven into each for easy identification.
What is ESS (Elastic Support System)?
"Elasticity" is the ability of a stretched fibre to return to its original size and ESS incorporates the highest quality elastics available to gently lock the sock on to your foot and lower leg with minimal compression, no bunching or ride-down and to provide support especially under the arches. By fitting snugly to the skin, ESS contributes to SeaCellactive Merino socks maintaining regular skin temperature therefore avoiding fluctuations that may cause chilling.

Easy to put on with a comfortable top cuffThe double cuff, high stretch top, with lateral stretch > 240mm (approx. 9.5 inches) enables easy slide-on and ensures minimal compression around the cuff.
Well fitting with no bunching or ride down nor irritating seams
ESS locks the sock snugly onto the foot. The seamless toe closure provides ridge free comfort; the Y heel provides an improved, wrinkle free fit and pressure point reduction. Individual shaping for each foot recognising their differences.
Anatomical cushioning avoids rubbing and friction/blisters
Naturally resilient, 100% New Zealand Merino wool is renowned for its fineness, strength and durability, and provides the special base for anatomical cushioning strategically placed through the sock for protection with a dense cushion pad for bony prominences. Friction is reduced by the softness of Merino combined with that of SeaCellactive when knitted with ESS.
Odour resistence; heat & moisture management
The inherent odour resistance and breathable properties of 100% New Zealand Merino wool combines with the moisture regulating and hydrating properties of SeaCellactive to inhibit growth of bacteria and therefore eliminate odour. The mesh panels and rib structure of the sock aid air flow.
Care Instructions
For best appearance and longevity, wash the socks inside out in a gentle cycle using a wool approved or mild detergent suited for natural fibres, then line dry. Any soap or detergents suited for babies/baby wear will also suit. As with other natural fibres, do not tumble dry.
