About Angora
Angora wool is the lightest natural fibre known and can only be produced by the Angora Rabbit (Angora Goats produce Mohair). The rabbits are not harmed for their wool, but are sheared regularly. The hollow structure of the angora fibre makes it an excellent insulator and it is incredibly fine and soft, measuring between 10-13 microns (finer than most wools). Up to three times warmer, Angora is often blended with fine wool to increase warmth and enhance softness. Like wool, it is breathable and wicks moisture away to keep the wearer warm, dry and comfortable.
About Merino
Merino wool is much finer than traditional wool making it smooth against your skin and more comfortable to wear. With many more fibres contained in the fabric it traps more tiny air pockets and locks in body heat. Merino wool is highly breathable and it wicks moisture away from your body, releasing it into the air. This helps to regulate your temperature keeping you warm in cold weather and cool in hot.
The natural anti-microbial properties of Merino wool make it odour resistant another big advantage over synthetic fabrics. In very wet conditions, it will absorb up to a third of its weight in water without feeling clammy and retains some of its warmth even when very wet.

Tips for Successful Measuring
- Measure yourself when dressed only in your underwear.
- Keep tape measure firm, but not tight.
- Chest/Bust: With arms at sides, measure around the fullest part; under arms and across shoulder blades. Ensure tape is kept horizontal and don't hold your breath!
- Waist: Measure around natural waist, at height of navel.
- Hip: Stand with your feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your bottom at the top of your leg, about 20-25cm / 8-10 inches below waist.
Top tip: if you do not own a tape measure, simply mark a piece of non-elastic string with your measurements and then measure the string using a ruler. These body measurements provide a classic fit.
