Anti-ageing, facial moisturiser, including nature’s own face lift – bee venom.
New Zealand bee venom is a best kept beauty secret of the rich and famous, and was used in the pre-wedding skincare preparation of Kate Middleton.
Royal Nectar is formulated for a rapid anti-ageing effect. A soothing blend of natural waxes and oils, Royal Nectar’s Moisturising Face Lift includes two pivotal New Zealand products – Manuka honey and bee venom. It is the bee venom that will gently stimulate your facial muscles to tighten and firm the skin, reducing the effects of your frown and laughter lines.
NZ Herald excerpt featuring the wash-off Royal Nectar Facial Mask, 28 April 2011 - "...[A] Bee Venom Mask, supposedly an alternative to botox, was credited last year with making Camilla Parker Bowles, 63, look years younger. It is said to work by gently stinging the skin, leaving a tingling sensation and causing the body to direct blood flow to the area. It claims to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which reduce wrinkles by relaxing and strengthening the muscles."
Apply Royal Nectar Moisturising Face Lift daily as part of your skin care routine. Cleanse first and follow with a small amount of Royal Nectar Moisturising Face Lift.
A test patch application is recommended for first use. We suggest application using a clean spatula. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Available in 50ml pot.
About Bee Venom Extraction
No bees are harmed when extracting venom - in fact the process is less aggressive than that of extracting honey or pollen. It is done by placing glass plates, through which a light electric current runs, at the entrance to the hive. The bees sting the glass (without losing their stingers). The electric current is turned off and the beehive restarts normal activity within 5-10 minutes. Once the job is finished, the glass plates are left in a warm, dark room to dry. After 24-48 hours, the glass is scraped and the dried venom is processed.
