Traditional New Zealand Made Sheepskin Slippers

This is a classic traditional sheepskin slipper that you can imagine yourself wearing as you sit by the fire. Traditional Sheepskin Slippers have a chestnut coloured suede upper and a plush woolly inside (0.5 inch / 12mm fleece). They will keep your feet cosy, warm and are so comfortable you won’t want to take them off!

Absolute finest quality made with premium lambskin and with a flexible rubber sole. The hard wearing soles have a unique heel protection that makes them suitable even for driving. Heel and toe areas are reinforced with cowhide suede to give extra durability and a replaceable innersole means these slippers will last for years.

Traditional Sheepskin Slippers

All of our Sheepskin Slippers have velvety suede on the outside with the plush, cosy fleece on the inside which feels wonderfully soft and warm against your skin.  They are completely breathable so your feet will never feel clammy. You can wear sheepskin slippers with or without socks; although if you choose to wear socks we recommend you wear natural wool socks so as not to affect your slippers’ breathability. (Try our Merino Wool or Possum Wool Socks.)

Sheepskin Slipper Sizes

For Sheepskin Slipper Sizes, please refer to our Sheepskin Boot Size Chart as different parts of the world use different footwear sizing methods and the size you order from us may therefore differ from what you are used to ordering. Please use the Sheepskin Boot Size Chart to find your own size and then check to see the correct size to order from us.

For example:
• If you wear a UK Size 8, you would order a Size 8.
• If you wear a US Women’s Size 9, you would order a Size 7.
• If you wear a US Men’s Size 7, you would order a Size 6.
• If you wear a European Size 43, you would order a Size 9.

Further note about sheepskin slippers sizes:
if you are a half size or not sure - order the larger size. Traditional slipper sizes run a bit smaller than our boot sizes.
If you have a worry about sizes, please note your size in "comments" section when completing your order and we will make certain you get the right size.

Caring for your Slippers

Cleaning instructions:
Hand wash only. Do not use a washing machine.
Hand wash in warm water with a wool approved detergent. (A special sheepskin shampoo is available through us, please see below.)
Gently rub the upper surface with a sponge to remove stubborn marks. Do not rub aggressively as this could cause discolouration and roughen the surface.
Rinse in clean, cold water. Do not allow to soak.
Gently squeeze out any excess water.
Re-form the slippers and allow to dry naturally away from direct sunlight or heaters.
Once the sheepskin slippers are dry, lightly buff the suede surface with a dry towel to restore the original nap.
