Delivery/Shipping to Asia under current Covid-19 conditions.

*Due to Covid-19, and its impact upon international freight services, we can only deliver to a selection of countries within *Asia at this time.

  • We currently cannot deliver to Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, South Korea. This is because the postal administrations in these countries are currently not accepting mail for New Zealand to the best of our knowledge. This means customers or order recipients in these countries will not be able to return any products/orders to us for exchange or refund at this time.
  • Until further notice, we have suspended our “Airmail: No Tracking” and “Airmail: Limited Tracking” services to Asia.
  • However, we have introduced an “Intl. Express Courier” (International Express Courier) service. For some countries, it is the only service available. New Zealand Post subcontracts DHL to provide this service. It is the fastest service and shipping costs reflect this.

*Asia as defined by New Zealand Post = Brunei, Cambodia, China, Guam, Hong Kong SAR China, Japan, Laos, Macau SAR China, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam.

  • We contract New Zealand Post to send your order by insured airmail or, to come countries, by international courier and. now, by International Express Courier.
  • Despatch emails are sent automatically, on our behalf, by New Zealand Post from noreply@notification.starshipit.com
  • Please remember to correctly enter your delivery address and your email address when you order, and also to check your junk mail or spam folder!
  • Once your order arrives in the destination (your) country, their Post Office is the delivery agent under the terms of the Universal Postal Union except for "International Express Courier", where the delivery agent is DHL or their subcontractor.
  • Depending upon the destination, weight and/or value of your order, one or more of the following options will be offered to you.

Airmail + Tracking

  • Currrently available only for Hong Kong SAR China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore.
  • Your despatch email will contain a tracking code with prefix “LX” and a link to New Zealand Post’s track and trace service.
  • Please expect some delays to the pre Covid-19 delivery target = 6-10 business days. (i.e. Monday-Friday excluding New Zealand public holidays).
  • Once it has arrived in the destination (your) country, you may possibly see more localised information by entering your tracking code into the track and trace service of the destination (your) country's Post Office.

Intl. Courier (International Courier)

  • Currently available only for China, Hong Kong SAR China, Japan, Macau SAR China, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam. 
  • This is a signature required service. To minimise delays, someone must be available to sign for the parcel. Local social distancing procedures will apply.
  • Your despatch email will contain a tracking code with prefix “EP” and a link to New Zealand Post’s track and trace service.
  • Once it has arrived in the destination (your) country, you may possibly see more localised information by entering your tracking code into the track and trace service of the destination (your) country's Post Office.

Intl. Express Courier (International Express Courier) NEW SERVICE

  • Currently available for Brunei, Cambodia, China, Guam, Hong Kong SAR China, Japan, Laos, Macau SAR China, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam.
  • This is a signature required service. To minimise delays, someone must be available to sign for the parcel. Local social distancing procedures will apply.
  • Please expect some delays to the pre Covid-19 delivery target = 2-4 business days. (i.e. Monday-Friday excluding New Zealand public holidays).

If your order is late or tracking information shows e.g. it has been “in transit” for an unusual length of time, please contact us.

  • Delivery times are targets and can be affected by e.g. Covid-19 shipping/processing delays or adverse weather.
  • If your order has not arrived within 15 business days after despatch, we can lodge a formal enquiry with New Zealand Post.
  • This will usually result in New Zealand Nature replacing or refunding your order if it cannot be found.
