DELIVERY/SHIPPING to EUROPE | Effective 12 July 2022, we are now shipping to Slovakia

Due to Covid-19, and its impact upon international freight services, we can only deliver to a selection of countries within Europe* at this time. Note that orders with European destinations are routed through the United Kingdom. Any Covid-19 impacts affecting transportation from UK to Europe will, in turn, affect delivery times for orders. Please also allow extra days to the published delivery times below. We are unable to be specific as information changes frequently.  There may also be delivery delays within any given country influenced by local conditions. Please check the website of your country's post office for updates on any localised delivery delays.

Europe* as defined by New Zealand Post = Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Holy See/Vatican City. Currently, we cannot ship to countries highlighted in RED. This is because of service disruptions and/or the postal administrations in these countries are not currently accepting mail for delivery to New Zealand to the best of our knowledge. This means customers, or order recipients, in these countries will not be able to return any products/orders to us for exchange or refund at this time.

We contract New Zealand Post to send your order by insured airmail, or international courier, or by International Express Courier.

  • Within Europe, the delivery agents are the post office of each country except for International Express which is DHL.
  • After order despatch from Nelson, New Zealand, you will be sent automatically an email with your tracking code and a link to the New Zealand Post Track and Trace service.
  • This tracking code can also be used in the destination country's post office tracking service and should offer more information within the destination country.
  • Despatch emails are also sent automatically, on our behalf, by New Zealand Post from noreply@notification.starshipit.com
  • At checkout, one or more of three shipping options will be presented to you depending upon the destination and/or weight of items in your order.
    • Please remember to correctly enter your delivery address and your email address when you order, and also to check your junk mail or spam folder!
    • Please monitor your parcel's progress regularly, and especially when delivery appears imminent.

1. AIRMAIL + TRACKING
Currently available only for Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
Please expect delays to the pre Covid-19 delivery target = 6-10 business days.(i.e. Monday-Friday excluding New Zealand public holidays)
→ Your despatch email will contain a tracking code with prefix “LX” and a link to the New Zealand Post Track and Trace service.

→ This tracking code can also be used  in the destination country's post office tracking service and should offer more information within the destination country.

2. INTERNATIONAL COURIER (Intl. Courier) Signature Required Service
Currently available only for *Austria*, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, *Denmark*, Finland, *France*, *Germany*, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, *Italy*, Netherlands, *Norway*, *Portugal*, *Romania*, Slovenia, Spain, *Sweden*, Switzerland.
Please expect delays to the pre Covid-19 delivery target = 4-6 business days. (i.e. Monday-Friday excluding New Zealand public holidays).
→ This is a signature required service. To minimise delays, someone must be available to sign for the parcel. Local Covid-19 protocols apply.

NOTE: PO Box Delivery is NOT available in countries marked **.
→ Your despatch email will contain a tracking code with prefix “EP” and a link to the New Zealand Post Track and Trace service.

→ This tracking code can also be used  in the destination country's post office tracking service and should offer more information within the destination country.

3. INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS COURIER (Intl. Express Courier) Signature Required Service
Currently available for #Andorra#, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg,   Macedonia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
Please expect delays to the pre Covid-19 delivery target = 2-4 business days. (i.e. Monday-Friday excluding New Zealand public holidays).
This is a signature required service. To minimise delays, someone must be available to sign for the parcel. Local Covid-19 protocols apply.
NOTE: This service does NOT deliver to PO Boxes EXCEPT #Andorra# where delivery is ONLY to PO Boxes.
→ Your despatch email will contain a tracking code with prefix "ED" and a link to the New Zealand Post Track and Trace service.

If your order is late or tracking information shows e.g. it has been “in transit” for an unusual length of time, please contact us.
→ We can then lodge a formal enquiry with New Zealand Post who then place a formal enquiry with the post office of the destination country.
BUT, you must contact us within 30 days of order despatch from our promises.
→ If your correctly addressed parcel is genuinely lost by New Zealand Post, or the destination country's post office, we will replace/refund you.
→ Note that our insurance does not cover theft/loss after delivery to your correctly specified address.

SPECIAL NOTE | LOCAL CUSTOMS DUTY & SALES TAXES
→ Any customs charges or sales taxes that apply upon entry to Europe and/or the destination country within Europe, are not covered in our prices.
→ We at New Zealand Nature have no control over this and it remains the responsibility of the individual customer so please track your order regularly in case this applies to your order. 
→ The order recipient is supposed to be notified by the destnation country's post office if this applies. If these taxes are not paid within a regulatory period of time, the order will be returned to us in New Zealand.

SPECIAL NOTE | GIFTING
→ When the name of the order recipient differs from yours, we assume it is a gift and therefore no documentation related to the order value is enclosed.
→ However, orders sent out of New Zealand do require a customs declaration on the outside specifying parcel contents and their value.
→ We enclose a standard “Best Wishes from” note bearing your name so that the recipient knows we have sent the order on your behalf.
→ New Zealand Nature does not currently offer a giftwrapping or card writing service.
